Roasted Cacao Beans directly traded organic cocoa from Chazuta, Peru

Cacao beans are our main ingredient. We obtain them raw from a small family in Peru. Once they reach us, they are sorted by hand and gently roasted. Our roasted cacao beans are completely natural and contain no sugar. They are naturally bitter and have an intense flavor. However, unlike the pure cacao nibs (inside the bean), the husk imparts a light, fruity sweetness, which we believe has to do with the pulp of the fresh cacao. This pulp dissolves during fermentation and drying, leaving behind a sweet note. This combination gives you an unforgettable taste experience with every bean. The advantages of the beans are that they do not melt in summer, are easy to snack on and give you energy.
